This black alternate air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Matt Walker during the 2008-09 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Walker in the 3rd round of the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. This tough guy made his NHL debut in 2002-03 with the Blues where he played for five seasons before moving on to represent the Chicago Blackhawks, Tampa Bay Lightning and Philadelphia Flyers, before retiring in 2012 after a 9-year NHL career.
The game wear on this 1st set size 58+ sweater consists of stick marks, board burns and inner pilling. Shown above is a photo of Walker, dated December 12, 2008, that depicts Walker against the Colorado Avalanche wearing what is more than likely this exact jersey. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Chicago Blackhawks game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice alternate from Walker’s only season as a member of the Hawks. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blackhawks team letter.
