2008-09 Denis Hamel Binghamton Senators Game Worn Jersey AHL Hall of Fame Photo Match AHL Letter
Lot #366

This white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Denis Hamel during the 2008-09 AHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Hamel in the 6th round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. Hamel made his NHL debut in 1999-00 with the Buffalo Sabres where he played for four seasons before joining the Ottawa Senators. Denis played with Ottawa for parts of three years before spending time with the Atlanta Thrashers and Philadelphia Flyers. In the midst of and following his NHL playing days, Hamel became one of the Binghamton Senators most accomplished players, including a 56-goal season in 2005-06. Hamel was inducted into the Binghamton Sports Hall of Fame in 2014 and was just recently inducted into the AHL Hall of Fame with the class of 2020.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Sewn to the right breast is the sponsorship patch. The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a team-sewn repair. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Hamel wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside collar is the official Binghamton Senators game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful black sharpie signature resides on the back player number in Hamel’s own hand. A beautiful photo matched autographed offering that features the coveted letter of honor and was worn by this newly elected Hall of Famer. This jersey will be accompanied by an AHL letter.
