2008-09 Daniel Briere Flyers Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match - Team Letter
Lot #146

This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Daniel Briere during the 2008-09 NHL season. Briere was the Phoenix Coyotes 1st round selection in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. In 1997-98 he pocketed the Dudley Red Garrett Memorial Award as the AHL’s top rookie. After 6 seasons in the Phoenix organization, Danny made his way to Buffalo where his career really began to blossom. He played a key role on the emergent Sabres clubs in the mid 2000’s, contributing better than a point per game during his stay. Briere began the 2007-08 season in Philadelphia where he struck for the third 30-goal season of his career. He has remained in good favor with the fans of Philadelphia and chipped in an impressive 30 points in 23 playoff contests as the Flyers bid for the Stanley Cup fell just shy last season.

The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, plenty of board burns, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Briere wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flyers team letter.
