Description
2008-09 Chris Porter St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey – Alternate - Rookie - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #661

This blue alternate air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Chris Porter during the 2008-09 NHL season, his rookie year. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Porter in the 9th round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Porter spent 4 seasons playing his college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before entering the NHL in 2008-09. Chris spent 6 seasons playing for the St. Louis Blues before spending last season with the Minnesota Wild. Porter has the distinction of having played in 175 consecutive college hockey games, an NCAA and WCHA record that he shares with former UND teammate Ryan Duncan. Chris also achieved the honor of being named Team Captain at UND.

The game wear on this alternate set size 56 sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected, as Chris wore it in a single game, November 25th 2008 in Nashville, his last of 6 games played as a rookie. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Porter wearing this exact jersey during the aforementioned game during the 2008-09 season. Screened to the inside hem is the official St. Louis Blues game worn jersey and set information. Affixed to the back player number is the BlueNote Authentics tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blues team letter.
