This white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Chris Gratton during the 2008-09 AHL season. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Gratton with the 3rd overall pick in the 1993 NHL Entry Draft. After spending 4 years with the Lightning, Gratton moved on to represent the Flyers before returning to Tampa. He then played for the Sabres, Coyotes, Avalanche, Panthers, Tampa for a 3rd time and ended his career with the Blue Jackets. During Gratton’s final season, he saw some time with Tampa’s AHL affiliate in Norfolk. Gratton spent 15 seasons roaming the NHL rinks, playing in 1092 games and racking up more than 200 goals and 1638 PIMS.
Offered here is Chris’ white sweater from the only time he spent in the minors during his lengthy professional career. Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the sponsorship patch. The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Gratton wearing this exact jersey during the 2008-09 season, the last of his career. This jersey will be accompanied by an AHL letter.
