Description
2008-09 Brian Lee Ottawa Senators Game Worn Jersey Rookie - 1st NHL Goal - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #266
This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Brian Lee during the 2008-09 NHL season, his official rookie year. The Ottawa Senators selected Lee in the 1st round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. After playing two seasons of college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota, this Fargo, ND native began his professional career with the Senators in 2007-08. After spending his first 5 years on the Senators blueline, Lee was dealt to the Tampa Bay Lightning during the 2011-12 season where he completed his NHL career after 2 seasons with the Bolts.

The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn repairs including a lengthy sew job to repair a gash on the front hem. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Lee wearing this exact jersey during his rookie season including one while scoring his first NHL Goal, a 3rd period game winner in Edmonton on December 30, 2008. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Senators team letter.
