2007-08 Stefan Legein Niagara IceDogs Game Worn Jersey - Inaugural Season
Lot #382
This black knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Stefan Legein during the 2007-08 OHL season. The Columbus Blue Jackets selected Legein in the 2nd round of the 2007 NHL Entry Draft. Stefan spent 4 seasons with the OHL’s IceDogs, the first 3 in Mississauga and the last in Niagara. In 2008 he began his professional career in the AHL where he played for a total of 7 seasons. He began with the Syracuse Crunch where he played for parts of 3 seasons before spending a couple with Adirondack, a couple more with Manchester and then playing briefly with the Toronto Marlies last season before joining Vasteras in Sweden.

In 30 games with Niagara, during his final year in juniors, Legein netted an impressive 24 goals and amassed 80 PIMS! Offered here is a home black jersey from Legein’s final OHL season prior to joining the pro ranks. The game wear on this size 54 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Affixed to the inside hem is the official Niagara IceDogs game worn jersey tagging. A terrific offering that was donned by one of the IceDogs franchise all-timers.
