This green dazzle cloth gamer by Nike was worn by Ryan Duncan during the 2007-08 WCHA season. Duncan spent 4 seasons at the University of North Dakota and eventually became the Team Captain. As a sophomore in 2006-07, Duncan captured the Hobey Baker Award as college hockey’s top player. Other prestigious awards for his outstanding 2006-07 campaign include AHCA 1st Team All-American, WCHA Player of the Year, First Team All-WCHA, WCHA All-Academic and Inside College Hockey’s National Player of the Year. Duncan went on to earn All-WCHA Second Team honors in both his Junior and senior seasons. Duncan has the distinction of having played in 175 consecutive college hockey games, an NCAA and WCHA record that he shares with teammate Chris Porter. Since leaving the College ranks in 2009, Duncan spent time with Bridgeport and Portland in the AHL but has mostly played in Europe over the past 5 seasons.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. Sewn to the back collar is the University of North Dakota 125-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling.
