Description
2007-08 Matt Greene Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #657
This blue air-knit gamer by Reebok and Elite Sportswear was worn by Matt Greene during the 2007-08 NHL season. The Edmonton Oilers selected Greene in the 2nd round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. This Michigan native played his college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before beginning his NHL career with the Edmonton Oilers in 2005-06. As a rookie that season, Greene found a spot on the Oilers blueline and his hard-nosed edge helped his team to the Stanley Cup Finals where they fell to the Carolina Hurricanes in a brilliant 7-game series. Greene spent 3 years with the Oilers before joining the Los Angeles Kings where he played on their blueline for the past 9 years and won the 2012 and 2014 Stanley Cups.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58+ sweater is solid and consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, edge material pulls and heavy pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Greene wearing this exact jersey during the 2007-08 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice photo matched offering of this 2-time Stanley Cup champ. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
