This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Mark Smith during the 2007-08 NHL season. The San Jose Sharks selected Smith in the 9th round of the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. This Edmonton native made his NHL debut in 2000-01 with the Sharks where he played for 6 seasons. Smith joined the Calgary Flames in 2007-08, his home for the final year of his 7-year NHL career.
The game wear on this 2nd set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and some massive team-sewn repair work to the left underarm that is an inch wide and spans nine inches in length! Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Smith wearing this exact jersey during the 2007-08 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flames team letter.
