This Apple Valley, MN native played 4 seasons of college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before graduating in 2001. Goehring stood between the pipes as UND won a National Championship in 2000 and finished runner-up the following season. Goehring is one of the most celebrated players in UND history and remains their all-time leader in Wins, Winning Percentage and Shutouts. Goehring enjoyed an 8-year minor pro career where he stood between the pipes for Syracuse, San Antonio, Milwaukee, Wiles-Barre/Scranton, Norfolk and Manitoba of the AHL. Since retiring, Goehring has spent the past 7 seasons as an assistant coach for his alma mater.
