2007-08 Jonathan Quick Manchester Monarchs Game Worn Jersey Rookie
Lot #216

This purple air-knit and knit combo gamer by Reebok was worn by Jonathan Quick during the 2007-08 AHL season, his first professional season. The Los Angeles Kings selected Quick in the 3rd round of the 2005 NHL Entry Draft. After playing his college hockey at UMass-Amherst, Quick made his NHL debut with the Kings in 2007-08. He became LA’s man between the pipes in 2008-09 and hasn’t looked back. The 2011-12 season was one for the ages for this Milford, CT native. After compiling 10 regular season shutouts, a berth in the NHL All Star game and a 2nd Team NHL All Star selection, Quick led the Kings on an improbable run to Lord Stanley’s Cup, marking the first championship in franchise history. Jonathan appeared in all 20 games, winning the required 16 on the strength of 3 shutouts and an incredible 1.41 GAA and earning the Conn Smythe Trophy in the process as playoff MVP. The Kings, led by Quick’s 16 playoff victories, went on to win their 2nd Stanley Cup in 3 seasons in the spring of 2014. In addition to the Conn Smythe Trophy and 2nd Team NHL All Star selection, Jonathan has won a pair of William M. Jennings Trophy’s, was twice a Vezina Finalist and has played in a pair of NHL All Star Games.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the sponsorship patch. The game wear on this size 58+ Goalie Cut sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Quick’s own hand. A terrific offering from Quick’s rookie season.
