This blue mesh jersey by Addidas was game worn by Pittsburgh Panthers wide receiver Derek Pinder in 2006. 2006 was a great season for Pinder. As a junior he earned first team All-Big East honors and was a semifinalist for the Fred Biletnikoff Award. He led the Panthers in both receptions (57) and receiving yards (847). His six TD catches were the second highest total in the conference. Derek keyed Darrelle Revis' 73-yard punt return TD vs. West Virginia with a devastating block that took out two defenders. The return, and the block, earned "College Football Play of the Year" honors from ESPN. Enjoy a view of that play above. Also enjoy a 50-yard touchdown catch by Derek vs. MSU on 9/16/2006. Pinder was drafted in the 7th round of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Chicago Bears. In August of that year he was released.
The jersey shows light game use and was gotten by our consignor directly from the Panthers locker room.
