This black alternate gamer by Reebok was issued for Sebastien Caron’s use during the 2006-07 NHL season. The Pittsburgh Penguins selected Caron in the 3rd round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He tended goal for 3 years in Pittsburgh, then spent partial seasons with the Blackhawks and Ducks. Since leaving the NHL following the 2006-07 season, Caron has found work in Europe. He has played in the Swiss-A league, in Russia’s KHL and in Germany.
Caron officially played a single game for Chicago in 2006-07. The photos above point to Sebastien having worn his home red jersey during that start, a victory for Chicago that saw him allow a lone goal. This attractive alternate shows no discernable signs of use so it might have been worn by Caron on the bench as a back-up. This jersey is a size 58 goalie cut and has a silver sharpie 7 penned behind the NHL shield.
