2006-07 George Parros Colorado Avalanche Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match Team Letter
Lot #162

This road white air-knit jersey by Reebok was worn by George Parros in pre-game skates during the 2006-07 NHL season. The LA Kings selected Parros in the 8th round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. This Washington, PA native played four seasons of college hockey at Princeton University before graduating in 2003. George began his NHL career with LA in 2005-06 and then played briefly with the Avalanche the following season before joining the Anaheim Ducks where he played for 6 seasons. Parros completed his career with single season stints in Florida and Montreal. This RW stood at 6’ 5” and adopted the role of enforcer during his NHL career. In 474 games played Parros amassed an impressive 1092 PIMS.

The sleeves on this jersey have been custom shortened for Parros by the team. The wear on this 2nd set size 58 sweater consists of stick and slash marks and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Parros wearing this exact jersey during the 2006-07 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. George officially suited up in just two games for Colorado, being a healthy scratch in the others prior to his trade to Anaheim on November 13, 2006. The depicted photo match was taken in early November 2006, in St. Louis prior to a game against the Blues during the pre-game skate. This jersey will be accompanied by an Avalanche team letter.
