2005 Brent Seabrook Team Canada World Junior Championships Black Bauer Game Worn Helmet Itech Faceshield - Team Canada Letter
Lot #591

This black hockey helmet by Bauer was game worn by Brent Seabrook while playing with Team Canada in the 2005 IIHF World Junior Championships held December 25, 2004 – January 4, 2005 at the Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, ND and The Ralph Engelstad Arena in Thief River Falls, MN.

Seabrook played for Team Canada during the 2004 and 2005 World Junior Championships, earning a Gold Medal in 2005 beside a young Sidney Crosby. Seabrook was drafted by the Blackhawks in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. After playing only 9 games for the Norfolk Admirals in the AHL in 2004-05, Seabrook began his NHL career with the Hawks in 2005-06. Now a mainstay on the Hawks blueline, Seabrook has played in 75+ games in 10 of his first 11 seasons, not including the 2012-13 strike shortened year. Brent would celebrate with his teammates in 2010, as the Blackhawks won their first Stanley Cup since 1961.  He was also part of another celebration in 2010, as he won his 1st International Gold Medal as an NHLer as his Team Canada squad took gold in the 2010 Olympics. Brent again was a major part of both the 2013 & 2015 Stanley Cup winning teams, playing in all 23 playoff contests both times. The 2015-16 season saw Brent attain career highs in Goals-14 and Points-49, while playing in his 1st NHL All Star game.

This black Bauer helmet has the player number “2” on the back with the Team Canada logo just above that. The helmet will be accompanied by a Team Canada letter.
