This road white air-knit jersey by Reebok was issued for use by Wade Flaherty during the 2005-06 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Flaherty in the 9th round of the 1988 NHL Entry Draft. This Terrance, BC native made his NHL debut in 1991-92 as an inaugural member of the San Jose Sharks. Over the course of an 11-year NHL career, this Goalie represented the Sharks, Islanders, Lightning, Panthers and the Predators.
This 1st set size 58 Goalie cut sweater does show a fair number of stick and puck marks but is labeled as game issued in the NHL’s population report. Flaherty signed on with the Canucks as a Free Agent in the summer of 2004, his home for three years before signing with the Blackhawks in 2007. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. On the back player number is a beautiful silver sharpie signature in Flaherty’s own hand.
