2005-06 Rick Nash Columbus Blue Jackets Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match
Lot #108
This home blue air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Rick Nash during the 2005-06 NHL season. Nash was the 1st overall selection in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft by the Columbus Blue Jackets. Rick is now entering his 10th season in the league having already posted two 40-goal seasons. In only his 2nd year, his 41-goal outburst was good enough to capture the 2003-04 Maurice “Rocket” Richard Trophy as the leagues top goal scorer. He was a member of the 2003 All-Rookie Team and has thus far played in 5 NHL All Star games. On the international scene, Nash has represented Team Canada in numerous World Championships and 2 Olympics including the Gold Medal winning games in 2010.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick marks, a good number of shiny board burns that dote this predominantly navy blue sweater, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling, and a partially un-repaired slash gash which lies just beneath a two-inch long team-sewn repair on the belly. On the back player number is a beautiful blue sharpie signature in Rick’s own hand. Shown above are several terrific photo matches that show Nash wearing this exact jersey during the 2005-06 season. On the inside hem is the official Columbus Blue Jackets game worn jersey and set info. A superb offering from one of Nash’s most prolific seasons to date, as Rick netted 31 goals and 54 points in only 54 games of action.
