2005-06 Paul Gaustad Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match
Lot #168

This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Paul Gaustad during the 2005-06 Stanley Cup Playoffs. The Buffalo Sabres selected Gaustad in the 7th round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. This Fargo, ND native made his NHL debut in 2002-03 with the Sabres where he played for parts of 8 seasons before joining the Nashville Predators. Gaustad would spend the final four plus years of his 12-year NHL career in Nashville.

The game wear on this Stanley Cup Playoff set 3 size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and trauma and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Gaustad wearing this exact jersey during the 2005-06 Stanley Cup Playoffs. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Gaustad wore this jersey as he and the Sabres trekked their way through the Eastern Conference, eventually falling to Carolina in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
