2005-06 Patrick Marleau San Jose Sharks Game Worn Jersey - Career Best 86-Point Season Team Letter
Lot #107
This road white air-knit and mesh gamer by Reebok was worn by Patrick Marleau during the 2005-06 NHL season. The San Jose Sharks selected Marleau with the 2nd overall pick in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Marleau immediately began his NHL career with the Sharks in 1997 at the age of 18. He has thus far spent his entire 16-year NHL career in San Jose where he holds many of the team’s all-time records. Thru the end of last season, in nearly 1250 games played, this winger was nearing in on the 450 goals, 500 assists and 950 point marks. Patrick tabbed a career best 44 goals in 2009-10 and has thus far compiled seven 30-Goal seasons. He set a career best single season points total of 86 in 2005-06, the year in which he wore this sweater. Marleau is a 3-time NHL All Star who has represented Team Canada in the World Championships and the Olympics, where he was part of the last 2 Gold Medal winning squads. Marleau will undoubtedly forever be looked upon as one of the Sharks all-time greats.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The game wear on this size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. The San Jose Sharks represent in their accompanying letter that Marleau wore this sweater during road contests between January 10th 2006 and March 7th 2006. A terrific offering that hails from Marleau’s 86-point season, a career-best and also sports the coveted letter of honor. This jersey will be accompanied by a Sharks team letter.
