Description
2005-06 Mike Peca Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey Team Letter
Lot #147
This blue air-knit gamer by Reebok and Elite Sportswear was worn by Michael Peca during the 2005-06 NHL season. The Vancouver Canucks selected Peca in the 2nd round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. Peca made his NHL debut with Vancouver in 1993-94 and spent 2 seasons with the Canucks before joining the Buffalo Sabres for a 5-year stint beginning in 1995-96. After suffering a serious injury in 2000, Peca missed the 2000-01 season and resumed his career with the New York Islanders in 2001-02. After 3 seasons on the Island, Peca spent a year in Edmonton, another in Toronto and a final two in Columbus before retiring. Peca was a 2-time winner of the Frank J Selke Trophy as the leagues best defensive forward and represented Team Canada in the 2002 Olympics.

The game wear on this 3rd set size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and a handful of team-sewn repairs. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey and set tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
