After a couple of years in the Swedish Elite League, Eriksson came to North America where he joined the Stars organization. He spent his first season stateside with the Iowa Stars and has been a staple in the Dallas Stars lineup ever since. With a handful of NHL seasons now under his belt, Eriksson is blossoming into one of the better Left Wingers in the NHL. With point totals of 73 and 71 over the past two seasons, as well as a 36-goal campaign already to his credit, the future looks bright for Dallas. On the international stage, Eriksson has already competed in the 2010 Olympics and figures to be a staple on the Swedish Olympic team for years to come.
