2005-06 Greg Johnson Nashville Predators Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #660

This road white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Greg Johnson during the 2005-06 NHL season. The Philadelphia Flyers selected Johnson in the 2nd round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Johnson spent 4 seasons playing college hockey for the Fighting Sioux at the University of North Dakota before joining the Canadian National Team in 1993. During his tenure at UND, Johnson became one of the most accomplished players in Fighting Sioux history. Greg would spend parts of two years playing for Team Canada before beginning his NHL career in 1993-94 with the Detroit Red Wings. This Ontario native spent parts of 4 seasons playing with Detroit, parts of two more in Pittsburgh and a season with the Blackhawks before playing out the final 7 years of his career with the Nashville Predators where he became the 2nd Captain in franchise history, sporting the prestigious letter of honor from 2002-06.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. The sleeves on this gamer have been custom shortened for Johnson by the team. The game wear on this 2nd set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes and fine inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Johnson wearing this exact jersey during the 2005-06 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Nashville Predators game worn jersey and set tagging. A nice photo matched offering from this former UND standout and hailing from Johnson’s final NHL season. This jersey will be accompanied by a Predators team letter.
