This black alternate dazzle cloth gamer by Nike was worn by Drew Stafford during the 2005-06 WCHA season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Stafford in the 1st round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. This Milwaukee, WI native spent 3 seasons playing collegiate hockey at the University of North Dakota before entering the NHL in 2006-07. Stafford is now in his 9th NHL season, having played all of them as a member of the Buffalo Sabres prior to his trade to Winnipeg this past season.
The game wear on this size 56 alternate sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Stafford wore this sweater during his junior season as he tallied 24 goals and 48 points in 42 regular season contests as he and the Fighting Sioux marched all the way to the Frozen Four. A terrific collegiate offering worn by this NHL vet during the final year of his distinguished career with the Fighting Sioux!
