2005-06 Corey Perry Anaheim Mighty Ducks Game Worn Jersey Alternate Rookie - 1st Home Game - 1st Playoff Assist & Point - Last Mighty Ducks Franchise Game - Photo Match
Lot #167

This black alternate air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Corey Perry during the 2005-06 NHL season, his rookie year. The Anaheim Mighty Ducks selected Perry in the 1st round of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Perry made his NHL debut with Anaheim in 2005-06 and is now in his 13th NHL season, having spent the entirety of it with Anaheim. This feisty dynamic winger is establishing impressive career marks. Perry is a 50-Goal scorer who won the 2010-11 Rocket Richard Trophy as the NHL’s leading Goal scorer. He also won the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL’s Most Valuable Player in 2010-11. This 4-time NHL All Star particiapant was also twice selected as a 1st Team NHL All Star. He won a Stanley Cup in 2007 and also has 2 Olympic Gold Medals for Team Canada!

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 alternate consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Perry wearing this exact jersey during Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals, the last Playoff game of the 2005-06 season, and thus the last game in Mighty Ducks history. According to the Mighty Ducks, this was the alternate that Perry wore during his entire rookie season, including the Stanley Cup Playoffs. The game logs show that Perry wore this sweater in a total of 15 regular season and playoff games, including his first NHL home game and the final game of his rookie season, a loss at home to the Edmonton Oilers in the Western Conference Finals. Perry scored his first Stanley Cup Playoff Assist and Point while wearing this sweater. An important one of a kind offering worn by this NHL MVP and 4-time All Star extensively throughout his rookie season, choice!
