2005-06 Ben Eager Philadelphia Phantoms Game Worn Jersey Turn Back the Clock
Lot #437
This black TBTC air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Ben Eager during the 2005-06 AHL season. The Phoenix Coyotes selected Eager in the 1st round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. This Ottawa native made his NHL debut in 2005-06 with the Philadelphia Flyers where he played for parts of three seasons. Eager went on to represent the Blackhawks, Thrashers, Sharks and the Oilers over the course of his 9-year NHL career. During that time, this tough guy rang up better than 2 PIMS per game including a single season best 233 PIMS in 2006-07 with the Flyers. Eager also won the 2010 Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks.

The game wear on this striking size 58 TBTC sweater is on the lighter side as would be expected. This set of sweaters was worn by the Phantoms during a December 2005 game and auctioned by the team afterwards. On the back player number is a weak purple sharpie signature in Eager’s own hand. Eager appeared in 49 games, scoring 18 points and amassing 256 PIMS with the Phantoms before receiving his rookie call up to the Flyers in 2005-06. An attractive TBTC sweater worn by this Calder Cup winning enforcer during the year that he made his NHL debut.
