2004 Tuomo Ruutu Young Stars Game Worn Jersey - "Young Stars" - Rookie - Team Letter
Lot #221
This red air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Tuomo Ruutu during the 2004 Young Stars game at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minnesota. The Chicago Blackhawks selected Ruutu with the 9th overall pick in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft. Following a handful of years where he played in his native Finland, Ruutu began his NHL career with the Hawks in 2003-04. He would spend parts of 4 years in the Windy City before a deal sent him to the Carolina Hurricanes where he is now in his 7th year with the club.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Young Stars game patch. Ruutu assisted on a goal while wearing this sweater as the West defeated the East 7-3. Light use that includes a board paint transfer on the right sleeve exists on this size 56 sweater. Shown above are some photos of Ruutu taken during the 2004 Young Stars game. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blackhawks team letter.
