Lot #453

This home white air-knit gamer by Reebok was worn by Scott Gomez during the 2004-05 ECHL season. Gomez was the New Jersey Devils 1st round draft choice in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft. He began his NHL career in New Jersey in 1999-00 and won a Stanley Cup, his first of two that very season. He also walked away with the Calder Trophy as the Rookie of the year. Scott is a 2-time NHL All Star, and has represented team USA in the 2004 World Cup of Hockey as well as the 2006 Olympics. After spending 7 years in New Jersey, Scott played for 2 seasons on Broadway before joining the Montreal Canadiens where he currently resides.

Gomez, who hails from Anchorage Alaska, truly went back home during the 2004-05 NHL Lockout. He partook in 61 games for the Alaska Aces scoring 86 points on the strength of 73 helpers. His stellar play earned him the following ECHL honors: 2005 ECHL MVP, 2005 ECHL leading scorer and 2005 ECHL 1st Team All Star.

Offered here is Gomez’ home sweater, which he wore while earning the aforementioned accolades in 2004-05.  The game wear is solid and consists of many stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Awesome sweater, worn by Gomez during his highly acclaimed and award winning 2004-05 ECHL season.
