Kevin Kerr retired as the all-time leading goal scorer in the history of minor professional hockey with 677 goals. So historic was Kevin’s record breaking goal that the Hockey Hall of Fame took the jersey, stick and puck from that momentous occasion to place in the annals of hockey history.
This road blue air-knit and mesh tie-down gamer by OT was worn by Kevin Kerr during the 2004-05 UHL season. A draft pick of the Buffalo Sabres in the 3rd round of the 1986 NHL entry draft, Kevin never cracked the Sabres roster. Instead, Kevin’s professional hockey journey spanned 18 seasons for 15 teams across 5 minor leagues where he racked up better than 3700 PIMS while shattering the all-time scoring record with 677 goals. He retired as the UHL’s all-time leader in several categories; goals 469, power play goals 73 and game winning goals 65. He ranked 3rd in points 901, and PIMS 1776, 4th in short handed goals 25, 5th in assists 432 and 6th in games played 598. Kevin won the UHL’s Most Valuable Player Award in 1993-94 and had his # 20 retired to the rafters by Flint, the team with which he is most well known.
