Description
2003-04 Peter White Philadelphia Flyers Game Worn Jersey
Lot #160
This white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Peter White during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Edmonton Oilers selected White in the 5th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. After graduating from Michigan State University, White began his NHL career with the Oilers in 1993-94. After 3 seasons in Edmonton, White spent a brief time with the Toronto Maple Leafs before joining the Philadelphia Flyers where he played for several seasons. He next spent a couple of years with the Chicago Blackhawks before a final season in Philadelphia. While not playing in the NHL, White spent plenty of time in the AHL and was 3 times the leagues leading scorer and therefore the recipient of 3 John B. Sollenberger Trophies.

The game wear on this size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, a fight strap that has lost the battle to salt and rust and fine inner pilling. On the back player number is a faded autograph in White’s own hand.  A nice example from White’s final NHL season.
