2003-04 Mike Danton St. Louis Blues Game Issued Jersey - “V” Vintage
Lot #221

This blue air-knit jersey by CCM was issued for use by Mike Danton during the 2003-04 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Danton in the 5th round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft. This Brampton native made his NHL debut in 2000-01 with New Jersey where he played for parts of two seasons. In 2003-04, Mike joined the St. Louis Blues for what turned out to be his last NHL season. In 87 career NHL games Danton racked up 182 PIMS. Danton is perhaps best remembered for being found guilty for his role in a failed murder for hire plot against his agent following the 2003-04 season.

Sewn to the right breast of this jersey is the Vintage “V”. This jersey was issued to Mike Danton for use during the April 01, 2004 game against the Detroit Red Wings. Danton who suited up in 68 games for the Blues and compiled 141 PIMS, didn’t play during the April 1st contest. As part of the Vintage program, the Blues turned back the clock and wore uniforms styled after their 1979-80 club. This 2nd set size 54 sweater shows no game use. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging.
