2003-04 Mike Bishai Edmonton Oilers Game Worn Jersey – Alternate – Rookie – “25-year Anniversary” – Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #157
This blue alternate air-knit gamer by Koho and Elite Sportswear was worn by Mike Bishai during the 2003-04 NHL season, his rookie year. This Edmonton native played his college hockey at Western Michigan University before making his NHL debut in 2003-04 with the Edmonton Oilers. Bishai spent just 14 games in the NHL, all with the Oilers that season. Otherwise, Mike spent five years in the minors, primarily playing in the AHL before heading to Europe where he spent the final five years of his playing career.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Edmonton Oilers 25-year anniversary patch. The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, unrepaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Bishai wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official Edmonton Oilers game worn jersey tagging. A nice patched and photo matched alternate from this hometown kid’s brief time in the NHL. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
