2003-04 Martin Havlat Ottawa Senators Game Worn Jersey – “Roger” - Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #161

This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Martin Havlat during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Ottawa Senators selected Havlat in the 1st round of the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. This Czech native made his NHL debut with the Senators in 2000-01, earning all-rookie honors. Martin played in Ottawa for 5 seasons before spending the next 10 years representing the Chicago Blackhawks, Minnesota Wild, San Jose Sharks, New Jersey Devils and St. Louis Blues. Following a 15-year career, this 30-goal scorer and 2-time NHL All Star retired in 2016. On the international stage, Havlat represented the Czech Republic in the World Championships, the 2004 World Cup of Hockey and a couple of Olympics.

Sewn to the right breast of this gamer is the Roger patch, to honor the passing of coach Roger Nielsen. The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, inner pilling and a couple of handfuls of team-sewn repairs. Shown above are a couple of beautiful photo matches of Havlat wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Havlat netted a career best 31 goals and added 37 assists for 68 points in 68 games played while wearing this jersey during the 2003-04 season. A well-worn patched and photo matched example of this 2-time NHL All Star. This jersey will be accompanied by a Senators team letter.
