This home white knit gamer was worn by Jim Duhart during the 2003-04 UHL season. Duhart was a prolific goal scorer who spent 9 seasons in the UHL. Nearly 5 full years were spent with the Flint Generals where Jim tallied 2 different 50+ goal seasons and another where he fell just shy with 49 goals. In fact, Duhart is the last 50 goal scorer in Flint hockey history. In 321 career UHL games with Flint Jim scored 211 goals, 386 points and racked up 726 PIMS. In Duhart’s first go around with the Flint Generals before they joined the UHL, which lasted 2 ½ seasons, he compiled 606 PIMS in a mere 149 games! 285 of those PIMS were tabbed in 1995-96 in a total of 57 games.
Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the Captain’s “C”. Sewn to the left sleeve is the Frankie Nault Memorial patch. Sewn to the right breast is the Miller Lite Sponsorship patch. Sewn to the right sleeve is the Cars 108 Sponsorship patch. Shown above are photos of Duhart wearing this exact jersey during game action while compiling his career high 56 goal campaign and the last 50 goal season in Flint history. This is one of only two home jerseys worn by Duhart the entire season. Being that this was the set 2 jersey means that Jim piled up the goals on his way to 56 while wearing this very shirt.
This awesome sweater has been highly customized by the team. The body has been shortened above the hem while the cuffs have thick elastic bands sewn to their insides. The game wear on this sweater is solid consisting of numerous stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and plenty of fantastic team-sewn repair work. Shown above is a photo-match of Duhart wearing this exact jersey during game action. A top notch minor league gamer with loads of character. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flint Generals team letter.
