This road white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Jean-Sebastien Giguere during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Hartford Whalers selected Giguere in the 1st round of the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. This Montreal native made his NHL debut in 1996-97 with the Whalers where he played for one season before joining the Calgary Flames for a couple of years. Giguere’s career took flight upon joining the Anheim Mighty Ducks in 2000-01. J.S. would spend 9 seasons between the pipes in Anaheim where he led his team to a pair of Stanley Cup Finals appearances, earned an NHL All Star Game selection and captured a Conn Smythe Trophy as Stanley Cup Playoff MVP. Giguere finished up his 16-year NHL career with stays in Toronto and Colorado.
The game wear on this 2nd set size 60 Goalie cut sweater is solid and consists of stick, slash and puck marks, heavy goal post and crossbar paint transfer, collar pilling and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Giguere wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A well-worn photo matched example by one of the greatest Ducks to ever lace em’ up. This jersey will be accompanied by a Ducks team letter.
