This blue air-knit practice jersey by Jofa was worn by Jason Smith in practice sessions during the 2003-04 NHL season. The New Jersey Devils selected Smith in the 1st round of the 1992 NHL Entry Draft. After making his NHL debut in 1993-94 and spending parts of 4 seasons with the Devils, Smith played in parts of 3 more in Toronto before joining the Edmonton Oilers where he cleared creases for parts of 8 seasons. Smith’s final 2 NHL stops came in Philadelphia and Ottawa. This 15-year veteran played in 1008 NHL games and accumulated 1099 PIMS along the way.
This size 58 practice jersey features stick marks, plenty of board burns and board paint transfer along with inner pilling. Smith’s player number 21 is penned in black sharpie on the fight strap. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by an Oilers team letter.
