2003-04 Jason Clarke Verdun Dragons Game Worn Jersey - Career Best 657 PIMS Season
Lot #216

This black air-knit gamer by Easton was worn by Jason Clarke during the 2003-04 QSMHL season. Clarke was a legendary minor league enforcer who enjoyed a 17-year professional career. During his playing days, this RW amassed an astounding 5492 PIMS over the course of his regular season and playoff career. More than 5000 of those PIMS came during the regular season. Clarke, who is presently the coach, GM and owner of the Carleton Place Canadians was named the CCHL’s 2018 GM of the year.

Sewn to the right breast and left shoulder of this gamer are the sponsorship patches. This jersey has been customized for Clarke by the team with inserts added that run from cuff the hem, vastly increasing the width of this gamer. The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, burns and abrasions, an un-repaired tear, fine inner pilling, fight abuse with a stitch popped and un-repaired front collar and a rear collar that has been torn and repaired. This jersey now measures to an astounding size 66, the enormity of which can be seen in the screen captures above. In 46 regular season games played with the Dragons in 2003-04, Clarke registered a remarkable 517 PIMS! In another 20 playoff contests this enforcer racked up 140 PIMS for a combined 657 PIMS in 66 games played! These totals were all career bests for this noted enforcer.
