2003-04 J.P. Dumont Buffalo Sabres Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match
Lot #124

This road white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by J.P. Dumont during the 2003-04 NHL season. The New York Islanders selected Dumont with the 3rd overall pick in the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. A contract dispute between Dumont and the Islanders caused the Isles to send Dumont to the Blackhawks via trade. J.P. made his NHL debut with Chicago in 1998-99 and played for parts of 2 seasons with the Hawks before joining the Buffalo Sabres where he spent 5 years. After leaving Buffalo, Dumont joined the Nashville Predators where he played for the final 5 years of his career. Despite never matching the gaudy scoring totals he amassed in juniors, Dumont ended his NHL career with better than 200 goals and 500 points.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Dumont wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging.
