2003-04 Eric Desjardins Philadelphia Flyers Game Worn Jersey – Alternate – Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #103

This orange alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Eric Desjardins during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Montreal Canadiens selected Desjardins in the 2nd round of the 1987 NHL Entry Draft. This Quebec native made his NHL debut in 1988-89 with the Canadiens where he skated for parts of 7 seasons before a deal sent him to Philadelphia. Eric played on the Flyers blueline for parts of 11 seasons, thus wrapping up his 17-year NHL career. During that time, Desjardins won the 1993 Stanley Cup, partook in three NHL All Star Games and was twice named 2nd Team NHL All Star. On the international stage, Desjardins represented team Canada in the 1991 Canada Cup, the 1996 World Cup of Hockey and the 1998 Olympics.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, inner pilling and a massive 13” long repair across the belly. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Desjardins wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn into the collar is the official Philadelphia Flyers game worn set tagging. A beautiful photo matched alternate that features a sizable repair. This jersey will be accompanied by a Flyers team letter.
