This red alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Donald Audette during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Buffalo Sabres selected Audette in the 9th round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. This 5’ 8” winger immediately made an impression netting 4 goals and 7 points in his 8 games of play in 1990-91 as a rookie. The 1991-92 seasons saw Audette strike for 31 goals in 63 games, thus earning himself a permanent spot in the Sabres lineup. All told this winger would spend 15 seasons in the NHL. After spending his first 9 seasons in Buffalo, Don went on to represent the Kings and Thrashers before making a brief return to Buffalo. He later suited up for the Stars, Canadiens and Panthers before retiring. Audette played in the 2001 NHL All Star game in a season that saw him tally a career best 32 goals and 71 points.
The game wear on this 2nd set size 56 alternate consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A nice alternate from the final 28 game stretch of this NHL All Star’s 15-year career. This jersey will be accompanied by a Panthers team letter.
