Description
2003-04 Brent Johnson St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey - Photo Match - Team Letter
Lot #280

This home blue air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Brent Johnson during the 2003-04 NHL season. The Colorado Avalanche drafted Johnson in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. His NHL career began with the St. Louis Blues in 1998-99. After parts of 5 seasons with the Blues, Johnson spent a partial year with the Coyotes. He next suited up for the Washington Capitals for 4 years before joining the Pittsburgh Penguins where he has backed up Marc-Andre Fleury for the past 2 years. Johnson made headlines during the 2010-11 season when he fought Islanders goalie Rick DiPietro, taking him out with 1-punch and causing facial fractures at that.

The game wear on this size 58 goalie cut sweater consists of stick and puck marks, pilling and several team-sewn repairs. One of those sits alongside the crest while the other couple can be found on each side of the hem. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Johnson wearing this exact jersey during the 2003-04 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Found alongside is the official St. Louis Blues game worn jersey and set information.  This jersey will be accompanied by a Blues team letter.
