Description
2002-03 Wade Redden Ottawa Senators Game Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #184
This white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Wade Redden during the 2002-03 NHL season. The New York Islanders made Redden the 2nd overall selection in the 1995 NHL Entry Draft. He began his career in 1996-97 in Ottawa after being dealt there in exchange for Bryan Berard. Wade would become the franchise’s cornerstone on defense, playing in Ottawa for 11 seasons before signing with the New York Rangers, where he played for a couple of years prior to retiring. Wade holds virtually every Senators franchise record for defenseman and played in the 2002 NHL Star Game. On the international scene, this Canadian native represented Team Canada in the World Championships, the World Cup and the 2006 Olympics.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this 3rd set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, inner pilling and a couple dozen team-sewn repairs! Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by a Senators team letter.
