Description
2002-03 Roman Hamrlik New York Islanders Game Worn Jersey
Lot #184
This road blue air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Roman Hamrlik during the 2002-03 NHL season. The Tampa Bay Lightning selected Hamrlik with the 1st overall pick in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, their first as a franchise. This native of the Czech Republic began his NHL career with Tampa in 1992-93 and spent the first 6 years of a now 20-year NHL career with the Lightning. Roman would also represent the Oilers, Islanders, Flames, Canadiens and most recently the Capitals. Hamrlik is the NHL’s active leader for games played with nearly 1400 through last season. Roman is a 3-time NHL All Star who has represented his country in the World Championships, 2 World Cups and 2 Olympics.

The game wear on this 1st set size 56 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. On the back player number is a beautiful black sharpie signature in Hamrlik’s own hand. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. Sewn alongside is the official New York Islanders game worn jersey and set tagging.
