2002-03 Reed Low St. Louis Blues Game Worn Jersey Photo Match - Team Letter
Lot #172
This road blue air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Reed Low during the 2002-03 NHL season. The St. Louis Blues selected Low in the 7th round of the 1996 NHL Entry Draft. This 6’4” enforcer made his NHL debut in 2000-01 with St. Louis. Low would spend 4 of his 5 NHL seasons with the Blues before a brief stint with the Blackhawks in 2006-07 that preceded his retirement. Despite a brief NHL career, Low managed to amass 715 PIMS in merely 256 games played. His single season best total of 234 PIMS came in 2002-03 while wearing this sweater.

The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater is solid and consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, fine inner pilling, fight abuse that includes major trauma to the front collar and subsequent team-sewn repairs. Shown above are a couple of photo matches of Low wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A nice photo matched enforcer’s jersey from Low’s career best season for PIMS. This jersey will be accompanied by a Blues team letter.
