This road green air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Pascal Dupuis during the 2002-03 NHL season. This undrafted Laval native made his NHL debut in 2000-01 with the Minnesota Wild. After parts of 6 seasons with Minnesota, Dupuis spent a brief time with the Rangers before joining the Atlanta Thrashers. At the deadline in 2007-08, Dupuis joined the Pittsburgh Penguins and went to the Stanley Cup Finals in each of the next 2 seasons, winning his only Stanley Cup Championship in 2009. Dupuis, who courageously battled health issues throughout his career, played his final 9 seasons in Pittsburgh before retiring in 2016 after 871 games played over the course of 15 NHL seasons.
The game wear on this 3rd set size 56 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Dupuis wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Minnesota Wild game worn jersey and set tagging. A beautiful photo matched offering that was worn late season as the Wild embarked on and successfully qualified for their first-ever trip to the Stanley Cup playoffs, eventually ending in heartbreak in the Western Conference Finals, just shy of playing for the Stanley Cup. This jersey will be accompanied by a Wild team letter.
