2002-03 Mike Keane Colorado Avalanche Game Worn Jersey – Alternate – Photo Match – Team Letter
Lot #125
This burgundy alternate air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Mike Keane during the 2002-03 NHL season. This Winnipeg native made his NHL debut in 1988-89 with the Montreal Canadiens where he played for parts of 8 seasons before being dealt to the Colorado Avalanche as part of the Patrick Roy trade. Keane played for Colorado for parts of four seasons while also representing the New York Rangers, Dallas Stars, St. Louis Blues and Vancouver Canucks. All told this winger spent 16 seasons in the NHL. During that time Mike played in five Stanley Cup Finals, winning three titles. His first was with Montreal in 1992-93, followed by the 1995-96 Championship with Colorado and finally the 1999 Stanley Cup with Dallas.

The game wear on this 1st set size 54 sweater consists of stick and slash marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes and inner pilling. Shown above is a beautiful photo match of Keane wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. A beautiful photo matched alternate from this three-time Stanley Cup Champion. This jersey will be accompanied by an Avalanche team letter.
