Description
2002-03 Martin Lapointe Boston Bruins Pre-Season Game Worn Jersey
Lot #238
This road black air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Martin Lapointe during the 2002-03 NHL pre-season. The Detroit Red Wings selected Lapointe with the 10th overall pick in the 1991 NHL Entry Draft. Martin would spend the first 10 years of his 16-year NHL career with the Red Wings, winning 2 Stanley Cups in the process. He finished up his career with stays in Boston, Chicago and Ottawa. All told this feisty winger played in 991 games and compiled 1417 PIMS in the process, including a span of 6 consecutive years with triple digit PIMS totals.

Proudly sewn to the left breast of this gamer is the alternate Captain’s “A”. The game wear on this pre-season set size 56 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer, un-repaired burn holes, stitch pops and inner pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging.
