2002-03 Luc Robitaille Red Wings Game Worn Jersey - Team Letter
Lot #157

This road red air-knit gamer by Koho was worn by Luc Robitaille during the 2002-03 NHL season. Robiataille will go down as one of the greatest lower round selections in the history of the NHL entry draft. He was a 9th round pick in the 1984 NHL entry draft by the LA Kings where he played for 14 of his 19 NHL seasons.

Robitaille compiled incredible career statistics. He retired with 668 career goals, in excess of 725 assists and nearly 1400 points. The goal and point totals are good respectively for top 10 and top 20 all-time in the history of the sport. Luc played in 7 NHL All Star games and was voted a 1st or 2nd team NHL All Star 7 times. Also to his credit is the Calder Trophy for rookie of the year in 1987. Robitaille finally captured the Stanley Cup as a member of the Red Wings in 2001-02. With a 19-year career now in the books, Luc is the most prolific scoring Left Wing in the history of the NHL, and is a sure-fire 1st ballot Hall of Famer.

This sweater was worn as Robitaille’s time in Detroit came to an end. The 2002-03 season was the last time that Robitaille represented the Motor City. The game use on this sweater is light consisting of stick marks, board burns, board paint transfer and fine inner pilling. Affixed to the inside hem and the collar are the official Detroit Red Wings tagging.  This jersey will be accompanied by a Red Wings team letter.
