This home white air-knit gamer by SP was worn by Garret Stroshein during the 2002-03 AHL season. Stroshein, a 6’ 7” winger, played for the Portland Pirates for 3 seasons in the midst of an 8-year playing career that was filled with fisticuffs. He was called up to the Washington Capitals and played in 3 NHL games in 2003-04 where he compiled 14 PIMS.
The game wear on this 1st set size 58 sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, washed out bloodstains, pulls and loads of pilling. Sewn to the inside hem is the official Portland Pirates game worn jersey and set tagging. Stroshein played in 28 games for Portland in 2002-03 and racked up 86 PIMS in the process while wearing this sweater.
