This home white air-knit gamer by CCM was worn by Fredrik Olausson during the 2002-03 NHL season. Olausson, a Swedish native, spent 16 years patrolling NHL bluelines. He began his career in Winnipeg and played there for 8 seasons before moving onto Edmonton, Anaheim, Pittsburgh, back to Anaheim for a second time, Detroit for a season that saw him capture his only Stanley Cup and finally back to Anaheim for a third time in 2002-03 for a final season. Freddy played in 1022 games and chipped in an impressive 581 points. He scored a career best 20 goals for the Jets in 1991-92. Olausson also enjoyed the thrill of representing Sweden in the 2002 Olympics.
The game wear on this sweater consists of stick marks, board burns, un-repaired burn holes, inner pilling and several team-sewn repairs. Shown above is a photo match of Olausson wearing this exact jersey during the 2002-03 season, his last in the NHL. Sewn to the inside hem is the official NHL game worn jersey tagging. This jersey will be accompanied by an NHL letter.
